Charges
Kimi Ryokan charges by the number of guests renting a room, and not by the room itself. This is traditional in Japanese ryokan. If there is more than one guest staying in a room, the cost per guest becomes less.
Kimi Ryokan does not have a childrens' rate.
However, there is no charge for a baby sleeping with their parents (up to one year old)
Cancellation Charges
For cancellation two days before check-in date we charge a 10% cancellation fees. For cancellation one day before check-in date, we charge a 20% cancellation fee. For cancellation on date of check in, we charge a 80% cancellation fee. If there is no notification at all we charge a 100% cancellation fee.
Ryokan Gates Locked
from 1:00 AM (01:00) to 7:00 AM (07:00)
Check in time is from 3:00 PM (15:00) until 11:00 PM (23:00). Please contact us in advance if you will be arriving earlier or later.

The ryokan gates are locked from 1:00 AM (01:00) to 7:00 AM (07:00) . As Japanese ryokan are family operated, this is a traditional practice. If you need to leave earlier for any reason, please let the front desk know in advance. There is a back door you can exit from, but can not re-enter...
Our entire building is non smoking, including all rooms. Should you wish to smoke, please go outside to the terraces on the 3,4 & 5th floors, our roof top terrace or outside the Genkan. There are ashtrays and seats arranged there for your comfort.
Please do not enter other guests room. Please use the Ryokan lounge for socializing.
Facilites
In addition to the showers, there is a Japanese style bath available.
The tub is specially made out of Hinoki (Japanese Cypress).

On the 3rd floor is a coin laundry with washers and driers for the use of Kimi patrons. Coin laundries are often very difficult to find in Japan.
The Kimi Ryokan has open a roof top terrace.
